autochache downloader problems.

hey i am trying to put my auto downloader working and somehow i do something wrong, dunno what.

what i did,

maked a .zip file (and putted the stuff what is already in my cache map into that .zip file i did not added the map itself since that won't work i know that :P )

uploaded that to dropbox and did "link" now i got a link on adressbar [url]https://www.dropbox.com/s/koczc1dx52bpa6u/Servername.zip?dl=0[/url] ( i think that i mess something up in dropbox...)

step 2. i did.

I did go to my client and found the map Configation.java.

(i did chance the real name of the server into "ServerName" else it will be adverting since i want to put this server online someday. (i can code "okay" but never did understand how to added a auto downloader for the cache.

YES i did compile the server and no errors where found. and when i use the cache that whas in the package i got and put it into "C:/home/users. it works fine. (but the auto download doesn't work somehow.)

anyone who can help please help me.

this is all what is into the file.

I deleated the name of the server at all places and chanced into "myserver" or did put nothing in return.

Hope this is what u meant.

Looks like an easy fix!

Change all CACHE_LINKS to [I][url]https://dl.dropbox.com/s/koczc1dx52bpa6u/Myserver.zip[/url][/I]

Basically, if you follow the link, you have to click Download to download the cache, the client isn't able to do this. Therefore we remove the ?dl=0 from the end, and replace the www. with dl.

thanks it helped a little but somehow he still doesn't work somehow he make's the map i chanced the name to "testcache" and that map getting maked but the map isn't compleet.

i maked a few picture's.

I have this same problem to with it not fully downloading with my server

somehow we are doing something wrong just can't figure it out jet :confused:

chanced already it looked liked it worked but it isn't jet :o


edit: i found out mine start's downloading the cache it also says "100% " but the cache in just incompleet downloaded he does download the files but only what i showed in the picture above (incompleeted) if somehow can tell me why and how to fix it shall be nice. Zip everything inside the Cache folder, Upload to dropbox, Grab the "Share" link, Replace "https://dl.dropbox.com" with "https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com".
