"Error Connecting - Retrying in..."

Question

So I was able to upload a new cache to my site just fine with FTP.
But now, it says for about 2 seconds:

"Requesting Title Screen"

And then:

"Error Connecting - Retrying in..." (And of course there's a countdown...)

Can someone help me please?

Ermmm, did you properly zip the cache? Does your client have a cachedownloader?

It is a 317 i suppose.
So if you got a cache downloader this is what to do:
1. Zip your Cache
2. Upload it to dropbox
3. Get the direct Download Link
4. Put the Direct Download link in the cache editor
5. save and compile.

That's not the purpose of Dropbox.

Make sure your zipped cache does not have spaces in its name (sometimes works but just to be safe). Make sure it downloads from the right location and that the ZIP is correct.

... That's the whole idea of uploading a file with FTP. If you uploaded it, you can link to it directly. Dropbox is not a site to host files for download. In fact they remove files like that. (if notable downloads)

If people checked the batch that their clients are running on, the world would be saved of threads like this.
I bet if you look at it, the answers right there.
