Why has my server started not allowing connections?

Question

Okay so for the past 2 months my server has been perfectly fine, it has never had a problem with connecting.

but when I tried to login today I receive this message..

but I go onto the VPS to check and make sure all is running smooth and it is, shown by this picture..

I haven't changed a single thing on the website, client, server, vps or anything else..

What is going on? :S

Maybe firewall issue? sometimes it can be a bit twitchy, like when I updated my PC recently, I couldn't connect to Steam, I know this is a completely different scenario, but maybe it might be the same.

Could try temporarily disabling it?

Also, did you check that your port is open through port scanners?
