Making my self Owner

Hello,

I am trying to set up my rsps and I cannot make myself the owner. The user data is stored in a .json file and when I close the server, edit that to be playerrights = 2 or whatever, it doesn't give me the rank and just changes back after i've compiled and then started the server again! Please help!

Gotta make sure what revision is it [ 317, 474, 718, 667, 614 etc.. ].

Make sure you're logged out before promoting your self, or check if there is auto save for the characters.

I'm not really sure, I'm quite new to the whole RSPS thing. I've tried loads of different tuts, but I have different files etc.

Make sure the entire server is off before you edit your file so there is NO way it can edit it back during you editing it. However there could be some code that changes it back, you should add in a little code that checks the username of the player and sets the rights. You usually put this where the user receives login information (like "welcome to the server") or whatever.
