some problem with RandQm-Source (delta)

Question

Hello,

as first, my English isn't good, so i try to do my best. ;)


I've downloaded the source: RandQm-Source, but i have these problems :
(client : RandQm-Client)


- npc's looks ugly while fighting and walking.
- gates can't open.
- ::item command is glitched, but many comments are positve...
(i get lots nulled coins and working other items while im trying ::item 995 20000)
- There is are no soundtracks / there is no music
- woodcutting is a little bit glitched / i get more than one log from 1 tree (i'm chopping untill my inventory is full.)


How can i fix it?
Or is there a 317 / 2006 rs source+client with all working things from above?

[B]1) [/B]The reason why "your npcs guys looking ugly while fighting and walking" is because they don't any animations. What NPC is it? A godwars boss or some other kind of boss monster? This is because that monster is not originally in the 317 revision and so when it was added it had no animations and simply took the animations of whatever monster it overwrote.

If its not a monster like that but is a monster such as a rat or a goblin then the npc hasn't been assigned its animations. You should be able to find a good tutorial on making NPCs attack correctly somewhere.

[B]2) [/B]Your gates can't open because they haven't been programmed to open, you can also find many good tutorials about that online. I'm sure that there are even one of two floating around on this forum. Just search for [i]delta making doors work[/i].

[B]3) [/B]Your item command is working just fine, you're just entering item ids for items that don't exist in the 317 revision or in your client. You can use the item list [URL="http://www.runelocus.com/tools/itemlist.html"]here[/URL] to search for items to spawn or you could download [URL="http://www.runelocus.com/forums/showthread.php?2423-317-ID-Package"]this[/URL], which contains a list of all the 317 items (and so all of the default items in your client). You can also see all of the custom items in your client by opening class8.java in your clients files and where it says something like if [i](i == 11696)[/i] is the item ID for that item.

I'm fairly sure that 35 is the item code for the AGS in Bluurs and thus all delta clients so you can do ::item 35 1 for an AGS.

[B]4) [/B] I'm pretty sure that you have Bluurs client as it's a delta source. It doesn't have any sounds built in it you may or may not be able to find a tutorial for adding them in online, I don't know. Most tutorials are for PI or Hyperion nowadays.

[B]5) [/B]That's just delta I'm afraid, it's the way that woodcutting is programmed. If you mean that you're getting more than one log at a time then something is wrong or if you mean that the tree never gets chopped down then that's the way delta is programmed to work by default. You might be able to find a tutorial for adding that in to.

If you don't want to do any of this then I'd say look for a copy of Galkons refactored client and a good copy of PI too. I don't know any PI versions as I've always used delta and to this day I don't know why I do. Edited by Comboed

I've used a PI before this, but i want a more 2006/07 (remake) source + client.
only 317 items and animations without customs.

Oh ok. Well, yeah, that clients been cleaned out so it'll have no items beyond the 317 revision. Which is what you want. Regarding your goblins, you'll most likely have to add in the animations and configure them server-sided.
