Need help setting ports on VPS

Recommended Posts

I just purchased a VPS today and i am having troubles setting up port 43594. I've checked on both runelocus and canyouseeme to see if the port is open and it is not. I am willing to pay someone via Paypal to either help me configure this or for someone to do it them self.

Thanks

This comment should be a sticky in the RSPS help section. I mean why have I never heard this before. I have a 2 wire router/modem and I think going through windows would be easier than using the crappy 2wire router software.

if you are using canyouseeme.org  or any other website to check if the ports are open, make sure you have UPnP enabled. Also keep in mind if the port is not in use, it will also tell you that the port has rejected the connection from the website thats checking your ports. I suggest using nmaps when portfowarding. I will tell you if the ports is being blocked or simply inactive.
