Norton Security Issue

Recommended Posts

Is there anyway to just completely ignore a program? Because I got an ASUS mother board and its got this Network iControl thing where it monitors network usage(probably does more but this is as much as i know) for all the programs running. When it tries to access Norton, Norton obviously blocks it. This is happening like every 1 second and it can't be good for my computer ;(.

Part reason for removing; Memory hog, Gives false warnings etc

From what I also heard about the false warnings is from what I was told, Norton produces random and fake viruses just to make you pay to upgrade etc...

Use a anti-virus program that's well known for not being a pisshole.

I use Webroot, one time payment, always works and no false viruses.
