What Labtop is the best?

Recommended Posts

Hello runelocus, asit is nearing christmas I may get enough money to afford a labtop and even more when I hit my birthday. I have been saving up a lot of money to buy a labtop that is good for:

*Coding
*Games (DayZ/RSPS etc) Preferably good for games
*Homework
*General Uses

But, I am not sure what to get? What do you think I should get that is good for battery life, fast, gaming, not to heavy, and cheap.

I have a budget of a $1,000 so hit me up with what you guys think.

I have been leaning towards the newest Ultrabook or the one that has to do with google chome that they are advertising but not sure yet. Any suggestions?

Assuming you mean laptop, none I don't even like nor intend to get a laptop.
Best off with a desktop, but then each to their own, Id rather have a computer where I can upgrade as much as possible, and where it wouldn't over heat (Granted you can get tools to stop the over heating but never the less...)

MSI has good laptops, but for $1000 you can't get the best laptop there is.

This is what I found really interesting for you. I made a laptop for £995. If you can go a little over budget you'll have a really good laptop. Pm me if you want to know what you should choose for parts.

For future reference, remember that the 'best' is very subjective.

Being the best performance-wise is not subjective. It's based on facts.
He asked what laptop is the best, and then he listed for what he wants to use it. (Overall performance)

And unfortunately (again), you completely misinterpret the main idea that I'm attempting to convey to the OP. Yes, he did indeed state in his post his definitions of 'best'. Yes, I completely acknowledge that fact. Nevertheless, his extension to the word 'best' is completely omitted from his topic title which therefore invokes all sorts of connotations to any logical individual who has not yet read the contents of the post.
