Laptop for gaming

Recommended Posts

Well I don't really need a high end laptop because all it will be used for is playing some rsps's, web browsing, and watching movies (rarely).

My current laptop is 5 years old and is getting a bit slow.

My max price is $500, and please don't suggest a desktop because my parents are divorced so I go back and forth.

Couple things, what is the G.SKILL*F3-10600CL9S-4GBSQ, needed for? (just wondering) also how hard is that to change into the laptop?

Finally how reliable are Samsungs?

G-Skill is memory, and yes, Samsung's good.

4GB isn't sufficient anymore, so you're buying an extra 4GB of RAM making it so you have 8GB of ram.

If you want a real gaming experience I would suggest Alien the special machine designed for gaming and graphics.

Nope, you can have an as good laptop for much less money. You mostly pay for the brand.

I bought a 4GB, dual core with an intel mobile 4 series graphics card (nothing great but better than the standard VGA) for about £320 which I think was a good deal.

It's called an Advent Monza Red, which is nothing great again, but if you want performance and value for money, anything similar I think you'd enjoy. I definitely reccommend dual core or even quad core, and a half decent graphics card if you're willing to spend up to 500 as you said. Edited by RSPS Mirrors
