Time 1 #1 Posted July 2, 2012 (edited) Okay. A while back I asked for a build that could run any game on high detailed settings. It came out to around $1.3k. Me and my Dad have been talking, and he thinks an appropriate budget would be at $600. Now, with the budget set at $600, I'm looking for a build that will give me the ability to play any new game I buy on at least medium settings, without lag. I don't need a monitor, but I am going to need an OS with this build. I don't know much about building PC's, so if you could give me any extra information, I'd really appreciate it. So, could anyone help me out with a good gaming PC build for $600? Edited July 2, 2012 by Time
Christopher` 8 #2 Posted July 2, 2012 Do you think you can bump up to $800?

I'll try to sway him to go up a little more, but I'm thinking $600 is the limit. What does it look like I'll be sacrificing if I can't sway his opinion? Christopher` 8 #9 Posted July 2, 2012 You're going to have to beg, plead, and bargain, because if you want a decent gaming build, you're going to need at least $700 with an Operating system.

I think we have a copy of Windows 7 we bought a while back for a different computer that never worked out.
