ThomasGFX 0 #1 Posted November 9, 2011 Fairly self explanatory topic. What do you like better, or wish you had? Mac or PC Personally. I love PCs. Whether there custom, or factory. I like them better. But Mac's are just so smooth, and minimal. But you're buying the name.

Toonshorty 0 #3 Posted November 9, 2011 Mac looks good, but I hate the OS and the price is just laughable. Over £1000 for a Dual Core, 2GB RAM and 250GB HDD? No thanks.

I personally like Windows, I never got to go in depth with Mac, but when I used it, it was so clean, so smooth... I think it will easily obliterate Windows if W8 is as bad as beta. Toonshorty 0 #6 Posted November 9, 2011
Agreed. You can get doubled that for the same price.
Double, and then some. Also, 2k, why put Linux on a Mac? The whole point of buying a Mac is that it all works together, if you're putting Linux on you might as well get a PC and save your life savings.

I rather get the Linux alone and build my own PC rather than buying a Mac just for it's OS.
ThomasGFX 0 #8 Posted November 9, 2011 If anything. CyberPower. Fair prices for nice computers. Plus, you can actually upgrade them.. Haha

Haha
They are not fair prices at all. CyberPower rip you off big time, less than Alienware, but still badly. I buy all the parts and do it myself - about 1000x cheaper and much higher quality.

And those are alright computers. And I guess you can do that. But you've got to know what you're doing. xD
