Pretty much ALL laptops overheat.

You try and pack desktop performance into something that small, you're going to have issues.

Is it a Laptop or Desktop you're after?

I'm not a fan of Toshiba myself, but they can't be that bad if they're that reliable.

Sony laptops are good but almost as overpriced as macs.

Toshiba's are good brand laptops.
I own 4 of them myself. All satellite.

two A500 and one A650, and I can't remember the other one.


Laptops do overheat, if your doing something on the computer that requires the processors to rise high temperatures, get a laptop cooler.
It happens alot when I play Assassin's Creed 3. so I put 2 additional fans, one underneath and one on the side.
never overheats from there.
