Rig im getting for my birthday.

Just a quick look at what im getting for my birthday.

CPU: Intel Core i7 960 quad core processor 3.2ghz (going to overclock)
Motherboard: Asus Rampage III Extreme X58
Ram: Kingston 8gb DDR3
Graphics Card: Dual GeForce GTX 570 732mhz 1280mb
Case: Antec 1200 full tower gaming case
PSU: Antec CP-1000 1000w CPX dual power supply
SSD:Corsair 120gb (for OS)
normal HD: WD caviar blue 1tb


Im going to use dual 32" tvs ( i already have one)

And it has liquid cooling throughout.

toal cost: 2537$ CAD

not getting this till sept so it may be cheaper by then...

GeForce.. You're spending $1,000 for graphics card. You can easily match that by crossfiring two AMD cards. There's no need for anybody to have two graphics cards for one grand.

My dad said build your comp upto 3000$ (including my other monitor), I hate AMD cards im only spending 800$ tbh, i could careless on a gaming rig most important thing is Mobo/cpu, and graphics card.

You also need memory, power, and good audio.

You'll need good internet too for a gaming rig. You'll need a 1200W+ Power suppler which is another $130+. You're wasting your money if you need this for a home gaming rig.

Get solid state hard drives :P they are 10x better then the normal HDs. :)
