Computer Freezing Shortly After Boot

Recommended Posts

This is exactly what happened to my other laptop that is originally Windows Vista, but my father took it to a technician (before this had occurred) and installed a version of Windows 7 (probably illegal).
Lol, reformatting doesn't get rid of OS. Rofl, it just wipes your hard drive clean and you just go through computer setup process.
May I ask where your OS is located?

Okay, I believe I have fixed it. It seems it was malware. Broken.OpenCommand, to be exact. Malwarebytes Anti-Malware found it and deleted it. I've had no problems since.
As far as I can remember, mine came with no disk.
Reformatting re-installs the OS. Also, just pirate Vista off Pirate Bay.

If I was you, I would make a backup and put it on a disk. Just in case something like this ever happens again ;)
