Shishir G 13 #1 Posted April 4, 2011 So my old PoS computer broke, and i really needed a computer that didn't cost TOO much... so I went to go buy one from either Best Buy or Walmart. Walmart had the cheapest but powerful one. I bought the CPU only. Didn't need monitor, got 4 already. IT's called the Acer Aspire X3400G I just want to ask, would this computer be fit for gaming, homework, chatting, video calls etc. info: I went to the System info window and these are the things Manufacturer: Acer ModelL Aspire X3400G Rating: 4.4 windows Experience Index Processor: AMD Athlon(tm) II X2 255 Processor 3.10 GHz Installed Memory(RAM): 4GB System Type: 64 bit Extra: 1 TB Hard Drive DvD Super-Multi NVIDIA GeForce 9200 Multi-in-One media card reader This cost around $500 USD total. Was this a good buy?

(unrelated to this) 64 bit can use more RAM than a 32 bit (64 bit is usually more expensive), the 32 bit processors are capped at 4GB of RAM. 64 bit can use much, much, much much, much, much much, much, much much, much, much more RAM, and if you don't take advantage of that, you're wasting your cash

Smudge 1 #8 Posted April 4, 2011 The only reason it's at 4.4 is because of the Graphics Card, same here with me but my rating is at, 5.6 or something.
