rodneywark 0 #11 Posted January 21, 2011 yer well if there is no speakers u can just plug some in or use a 3mm audio jack to audio cable (red and white) which i'm doing so i can use my Surround sound. yeah turtlebeach comes with that audio adapter very handy well im thinkin all hdmi monitors etc have built in speakers. plus i think vga is better cuz of the turtlebeach headsets and astros
07erza 0 #12 Posted January 21, 2011 (edited) If you're setting it up with HDMI only, then it supports sound. HDMI is used to display in 1080i or 1080p. The RGB is 720p and I think red yellow and White is 376i and 480p. Or are you going to useVGA to HDMI? And the one you found is mainly used for older generation XBOX 360's without HDMI output. Toonshorty 0 #13 Posted January 21, 2011 Emily, just get an HDMI cable. XBOX ----(HDMI)----> MONITOR VGA nor DVI will transfer sound.

Toonshorty 0 #16 Posted January 21, 2011 I'm certain all the Xbox 360s have HDMI other than the old arcade and 20GB premium. The rest have HDMI ports. Even if you don't have HDMI you can get either component cables or Xbox 360 to VGA official cable.
