Do you know what "Safe mode with Networking" does??? Obviously not. Regular Safe mode just allows you to change settings, No network = no troubleshooting. Now, like I said before. Technically, if it was a Virus; the guy probably doesn't even know you. You can obtain a Virus from anything. Look if you have the original boot-up disks, tell me if you do; if you do, then you have your solution. Pop it up, and follow the on-screen instructions.
