Twisted 1 #1 Posted September 4, 2010 Hello there fellow n00bs. After a recent brush with a fucking annoying ass virus, I am in mode of "AMG PROTECT EVERYTHING" type of deal. I want basically the best FREE protection for ma computa. I have had AVG Free, I make it scan regularly so that is my kinda Anti-virus for now. But anyone know basically anti-keylogger or anti-spyware, you know, those type of tracking me shit. Preferably free. Thx.

Malik 0 #5 Posted September 4, 2010 Full Protection = never go on the internet Lol moment. On topic: I looked up on google and found some sites you should check: http://www.free-av.com/ http://free.antivirus.com/ http://www.bitdefender.com/ And from their description, they said they had some kind of free software. I hope it somewhat helps

Smudge 1 #7 Posted September 4, 2010 There's hardly any good free anti-viruses. The best ones are the paid ones; even thought they are expensive. Example McAfee detects some of the latest FUD's created by hackers / virus spreaders.
hhhzzzarn 0 #8 Posted September 4, 2010 Get the COMODO firewall and DEFENCE+. DEFENCE+ notify you of every change to your computer real-time. Ofcourse you can change its settings. For anti-virus, sure AVG but i use AVAST for personal taste.

Ghost 0 #10 Posted September 4, 2010 ESET NOD 32 is the #1 antivirus. In most critiques, it and BitDefender are the top two contenders. I use it and love its sleek design and speedy detection. I'd intentionally download trojan's and even if it's in .exe or .rar form it still is detected
