bad fps on some games

Recommended Posts

Sup guys, recently bought new shit for my pc and for some reason on CS:GO and ARMA I get way worse fps than I should..

Specs:

5410b18b248d4db8b1a04c7565464412.png

Few info:

- I have a 8gb hyperx 1800mz ram chip and a 4gb ddr3 unknown chip

- My processor is an AMD FX4100 Quad Core 3.6ghz

- I use a HDMI Cable since I do NOT have a computer monitor

Other:

CS:GO-

When playing this game, I play on the LOWEST settings and still struggle to get 140fps.. my friend has a similar build but uses the 6gb gtx model and gets 400fps.. like TF

Your CPU might be bottlenecking a 1060...

Correction, your CPU is definitely bottlenecking the 1060.

But one ram stick might have one set of specs while another stick has other specs (e.g. timings). I'm sure @Christopher` can help you out.

As you can see in your screenshot, the two different RAM sticks are causing your RAM speed (MHz) to be SUPER fucked. 669MHz RAM is absolute shit. Take the 4GB stick out and just stick with the 8GB until you can get two of the same RAM. Dual-Channel memory is rather particular.

Unless I'm mistaken, this is your motherboard. It only supports up to 8GB and 1600MHz RAM.
