1. With the help of a friend of mine, it was exciting and I feel like I learned SO much from just a few lines of code.

/*String (= text) * boolean (= true or false) * byte, short, int, long, double, ...(=numbers)*/ public class Main { /** * @param args */ public static void main(String[] args) { int cookies = 5 + 25; String message = "MMM I LOVE COOKIES!"; cookies = cookies / 10; System.out.println(message + " - " + cookies); boolean isHungry = false; if (isHungry == true) { cookies = cookies - 1; System.out.println("REALLY? Only " + cookies + " in the JAR?"); } else { System.out.println("I dont want any cookies..."); } System.out.println("continued"); int counter = 1; while (counter <= 20) { System.out .println("Our counter is still not high enough! It's only " + counter); counter = counter + 1; } for (int counter1 = 1; counter1 < 21; counter1++) { System.out.println("Still waiting on this counter.. We're at " + counter1); } int number1 = 5; if (number1 <= 5) { int number2 = 1; if (number1 == 5) { number2 = 2; } }// Math. provides math methods number2 = 5; } }

I'm proud of myself. xD
 2. Are there any servers for 742 written for java 1.6? All of the ones I could find were only written in 1.7, and my computer doesn't support java 1.7. Was going to change the code to work with 1.6, but changing the switch with Strings and casting to primitives would take forever. + eclipse doesn't pick the error up for some reason.
 3. Sup Runelocus This is flipping guide for people unfamiliar with it. Written Guide: 1. Find item to flip 2. Test Item 3. Buy 1 of item for +5% 4. Write down price you bought for 5. Sell item for 1 gp 6. Write down price 7. If you think profit is worth flipping then flip it 8. Buy max quant. - 1 using the price you sold for in the test 9. Sell items for buy price 10. Profit???!!!?? Tips: When flipping, sell the prices a little bit lower (a few gp) to beat competition and vice versa Start with atleast 1m. But for the big flips youll need at least 10m+ Once you make a list of good items to flip, its wise to not tell people because that means more competition which means less profit Check the Grand Exchange regularly to find good items to flip I try to make new tutorials weekly so subscribe and/or follow me on twitter if you are interested in seeing more videos from me.
 4. Vanilla: Where Simplicity is Perfection. The goal of Vanilla is not to replicate, nor create a simplified version of Runescape. It is in fact to create a completely new game based on the content already available in the 377 cache. While you may find many similarities within skills and combat, the differences far outweigh that of any previous RSPS. A few unique ideas: - Multiple stacks of items! -- Allows an infinite amount of a single item to be obtained. - More balanced armor & weapons! -- For example, for metals bronze-rune, there is only a 5-20% increase in protection from one teir to the next. What does this mean? You'll definitely see people Pking in anything from steel up. Hopefully we will achieve a balance between integrating lower level armor into actual game play, and still maintaining runes status as the best gear. - Effect based magic! -- Different types of spells (Air, Water, etc) will provide different effects when cast. This will allow for skillful combos of damage, weakening, and slowing on players and NPC's. Also stun, weaken, etc spell ability has been increased to make them actually useful in combat. Other effects may be added. - No high-level shops! -- As you'll see below, only basic starter items are included in shops. Everything else from axes to runes, you make yourself. - Gold-based economy! -- The only source of GP in the game will be through mining gold ore, and smithing it into coins. As more and more gold is obtained by all players, the amount of GP received from gold mining will be gradually reduced until equilibrium is reached between the amount incoming and the amount lost by shop profits, death, etc. This allows for a firmly based economy and prevents inflation. (Remember when R2H's were 2M?) While you WILL be able to alch items and gain exp, you will receive an amount of gold held in proportion to the current gold standard as mentioned above. - 200KB client! -- Our client uses 100% ondemand. You won't have to wait for the cache to download the first time you play, nor will you have to ever download any updates. We can and will add NEW CUSTOM MAPS occasionally, and no manual updates will be required. RSA is also re-implemented to provide security. - Highly efficient server backend! -- The server has been stressed with 5,000 players running various skills and tasks at 70% load, and 10,000 players only walking at 85% load. While the actual player count per-world will be much lower, this shows that you will enjoy your Vanilla experience with minimal downtime. Binary player saves also lower the amount of overhead needed to keep your data safe, and allow us to keep multiple backups to ensure your account is never lost. - FULL modifyable clipping -- We are the only server to date with clipping this extensive. We can add/remove any object regardless of type, modifying the clipping for all players, or just a you. (Doors only you can walk through, but others can see them open) We are also planning on a model height dump so we know which objects you can range/mage over. (Castle walls, fences, and windows VS solid objects like trees) The system is completely written from scratch by Joe (AKA Killer99) and is extremely efficient. To date we've tested 5k npcs walking through obstructions with a <1% server load. The server is currently in PRE-Alpha stage. Once full combat is perfected and balanced, we will release into Alpha and allow players to test! (All alpha testers will receive a special color party hat, unobtainable after Alpha) Videos: Time lapse of making full-bronze Swimming! 6. Hey guys. I need to have an essay for my American Lit. class. I'm offering $10.00 for it. (Or $5.00 for a good rough draft.) Topic: "Write about any published American author, and explain how he/she changed America." Requirements: - 800 words. - Good grammar and punctuation. - 5 Paragraphs. (Introduction, 3 Body Paragraphs, and the Conclusion.) - Needs to be written at a 12th grade level. The sooner it's done, the better. :) (Ikiliki told me that this was probably the best section to post this in.)
