Welcome, thank you taking a look at my Advertisement thread. I've been messing around with a 718 server and creating it to my own liking and adding some cool content that some other servers don't have. I'm creating a free to play server no microtransaction no donating none of that bullshit. Why? Because every server I see on here always has something related to donating for better items memberzone ect ect ect.... I was trying to create a 317 but I just didn't feel it was right... So I switched back to 718s I feel like there needs to be a bigger community torwards 718s that aren't just download and host. I've been putting work into this and I've been learning while doing so. I've added some of my own content (No its not great ofc) But it is good. It's my own it's never before seen. which is what a player wants. So lets continue shall we? Yes indeed! We are VPS hosted to insure low downtime (If any at all only for updates) Which will be monitored everyday. So thank god for that! Welcome to your new home area. I've never seen it used in servers (Although I don't play alot) It's content packed with a load of shops. Everything you find will be free to the player... I've created a super user friendly interface under the task tab. There you can easily teleport around, obtain a new daily task. And of course as you can see above. Access different locations. There is a in depth help guide to Alterin. To help any player! It will also be udpated accordingly to the community. I loved this idea I came up with I feel like it will "handle" most of what you need. A lot of servers I see have pretty lame banks, I added players to login with some great outfits and better starting items. Nothing special here... I've added a cool login interface that changes to a new message upon every login. Thought it was neat. You can disable it under your settings... Which is also neat. good image hosting sites I'm always adding some new content or something different for the players. Although I'm ready to launch my beta version so I can get real player input on this. I've done some combat tweaking to some bosses and added a pretty cool path finding for NPCS. Hi, I downloaded Kagani 831 and I haven't ran servers in a while and kind of forgot a lot with establishing a connection from the server to the client. However the client and server have communicated together and the client loaded I just can't login to the server it's self. Hello! I have a very unusual request. I first started playing Runescape back during Runescape classic when I was eight years old. The game has left a tremendous impact on me, and I have a ton of fond memories of both Runescape classic and Runescape 2. I played the game with my siblings, and I have a lot of nostalgia of it. Runescape has changed a lot. Maybe not for worse, but it's not the same game I grew up with. I'd like to find a Runescape (classic or private) server and client that remains as faithful as possible to the original game. I don't really prioritize things such as PvP, Godwars or even any multiplayer support whatsoever but quests and the music are huge to me. Does anyone know how I can accomplish this goal? It would mean a lot to me to have a copy, especially for when I get even older and Runescape is long forgotten. Thank you!

On some offer thread I see they offer to download "client" version. Is I need to build my own client software? 3. How can you put advertisement in your game server? 4. Hello, RuneLocus members. I'm interested in creating a RuneScape server from sratch. There is something I need clarifications on. Your inputs will be very appreciated. I understand that the RS clients have protocols that mandate how it communicates with a server. From a few reads I've had around the web concerning RS servers, it seems that those who originally created a server used tools for reverse-engineering the client's network input/output (packets) and used the gathered information to make sense of the client's protocol. I'd appreciate any corrections on my understanding of this matter, as well as sources for tools and articles/wikis/tutorials/references that will help me understand a client's protocol. In concrete, I'm going to be starting with a clean 317 client, of which I believe Mopar is one of the easiest to get their hand on (though some didn't consider it clean enough a few years ago). I'll program the server using standard C++ (C++14) with correctness, performance and portability as primary goals (in that order). For the network part of the server, I'll be using the standalone asio library, which I've just started learning yesterday night. Right now, my only goal is to successfully login into the game world using a client connected to my server. Hopefully, after that is done, I'll be very motivated and work towards making a robust RS server. Thanks for readings, notaki

A RuneScape Item Price Estimator Tool should be added into RuneLocus. A tool that estimates a price in game of an item. Something like the Grand Exchange should be added. Following a marketplace for items and gold that only staff can sell items on or instead of that, a whole new subscriptions shop for ranks, toplists, banners etc. Plus we should add a Webclient Builder or webpage builder? :)

Every time I download someone's source and client and then make some changes (add npc's, shops etc) and then try to compile with the compiler given in the folders, I get an error message saying "The system can not find the path specified, press any key to continue" I've edited the compilers according to my version of JDK thinking that would help but it doesn't. Does anyone know of how I could fix this or have any idea what I'm doing wrong? Thanks.

So with many months of practice since the disappearance of the first 2 Allastasia Attempts, I will be restarting the first project completely utilizing the Dementhium server as a base. Many of you may know that Dementhium is a very unstable server to use as a base, so that is why during this project, you will notice alot of core work, including; Re-writing the path finding and region systems completely, and fixing up many of the design issues Dementhium had to offer. The reason I am bringing this project back to life, is I saw great potential in this project, and couldn't let it die out that easy! Alot of you have supported the project since day one, and I feel I have let you all down in a way. So that is why I am starting off with the base I started Allastasia with in the first place with a hope to finally get this project complete!
