  2. Hi there, I was wondering if it's possible to make certain npc's private and only shows when the player has a, true value in his file. Example of what i mean. [QUOTE]npc 1 = man. if (player.hastruevalue == false) { npc.getAppearence().switchshown(); } else if (player.hastruevalue == true) { npc.getAppearence().switchhidden(); [/QUOTE] Is it possible in one way just like real runescape. if you completed a certain quest, Some npc's will be hidden for the player, While others can, Still interact with them? Same for objects. which will only show, when the player has a certain value enabled or true/false after a quest or interaction. Sorry for the poor explanation. All help is appreciated!

  4. Hey guys im having a problem, basically im trying to spawn kalphite queen in her lair but i cant, infact i cant spawn any npc's there. I can spawn Kalphite queen in other areas but not in her lair these are the coords: X:3478 Y:9498 i did [CODE] ::tele 3478 9498 4 [/CODE] command and i tried spawning npc's there using the [CODE] ::npc [/CODE] command but i couldn't spawn any. In spawn config this is what i put: [CODE]spawn = 1158 3478 9498 0 0 55 600 380 250 Kalphite Queen[/CODE] I would appreciate it if someone could help me, Thanks.:D
  5. [FONT=Century Gothic]Alright, so there's a problem I'm having with my server. NPC's will attack the player fine with their normal GFX - however, once a player on the server attacks any sort of dragon and the dragon does a fireball GFX or some sort of magic spell GFX, every single NPC on the server will be doing that GFX when a player attacks it. Could I please get some detailed help on this situation so I can fix it please?[/FONT]

Hey, as you may have guess I am new to private servers and have been searching for an answer to my question all day, but can't seem to find anything helpful. :/ I am trying to make npc's attack back. I have made it so that the npc does 1's and 2's but I don't know how to make it go any higher.   9. Hi there, I was wondering. Is it possible to make objects and npc's some of them, Appear only for the player who has completed the required quest or anything you assign. Such as Lighting a lantern for a quest. Lets say we have player L33tkiller and player Fairstone * this is just to show you what i mean* In player.java we have private booleans [CODE] public boolean startedLightLantern = false; public boolean inProgressLightLantern = false; public boolean completedLightLantern = false;[/CODE] Both players can see a npc called, Lantern lighter. Once you talk to him you can start the quest which will make [CODE]public boolean startedLightLantern = true;[/CODE] So lets say. Player l33tkiller started the quest which makes the boolean set true for him. But for player fairstone its still false. So i want for player l33tkiller, If the Boolean is True to spawn certain npc's As example [CODE]World.spawnNPC(133, new WorldTile(3602, 3339, 0), -1, true);[/CODE] So i do not want player Fairstone be able to see it Since he is still on false. Now for an object Such as a lantern. There are lanterns across runescape. Take as example lantern ID 6413. I already got them ready so you can light them. But, i only want the player be able to light them if they are true with the boolean. If you are false with it i want the player fairstone not be able to see nor activate it. And as last. _________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Lets take the fightcaves, The tzhaar fight caves once you start them, takes a certain part. Copy's it to an empty space, And makes it an private space for just the player. So you cant multiplay there. Is it possible to make it for more area's? To make it copy a certain zone/region and make it private in an empty space. Thanks in advance i hope that it was not a bad explanation.

Hi there, I've been struggling around with npc forcetalking, I know how to make npc's say a forced line once, to the required optionhandling that you choose. like this. else if(npc.getId() == 20000) npc.setNextForceTalk(new ForceTalk("Test message")); This is just an example that i got for optionhandling 1, this would make npc 20000 say test message forced, But now my question. Is it possible to make Npc's Forcetalk By themselfs over time? Without interacting with them. And is it possible to make these messages timed aswell?, With this i mean take as example a npc that has 4 lines to say line 1: npc.setNextForceTalk(new ForceTalk("This is my first message!")); - Forced after 5 seconds- npc.setNextForceTalk(new ForceTalk("And that's my second message")); - forced 5 seconds after line 1- npc.setNextForceTalk(new ForceTalk("And that's my Third message")); - forced 5 seconds after line 2 npc.setNextForceTalk(new ForceTalk("And that's my Last message")); - forced 5 seconds after line 3- Do i need to make a new class for it etc?, Some help with this would be great.   12. Hi there, I was wondering how to stop this? At godwars i got the aviansie's npc's are keep attacking eachother? how can i set it to a faction? like armadyl mobs don't attack armadyl mobs, bandos not bandos, but, Armadyl attacks bandos etc. Thanks.

    Rotating NPC's?

    I've been looking around everywhere trying to find a solution and can't find one at all. But surely there must be some way to do this. I've heard about changing their walk values however that does nothing. If anyone has solved this please reply. Thanks.

  17. Hello everyone. I wanted to add new Dung Npc's and everything was fine, cause It's easy to add them. But then, after I added their Combat styles, hp etc. I put them into the "Unpackedspawns" and deleted the "packedspawns" folder. When I logged in the first time, all Npc's were gone, except the new Monsters I've added. The second time, after backupping all Npc's, the half of the Npc's were gone. I can't find a way to fix it, do I need to put the "Id's" in a specific order in the "Undpackedspawns", or did I do something else wrong?

    Problem with NPC's

    I got a problem if i right click an npc and press - Talk , Attack , Pickpocket .   22. For some reason my npc's wont respawn on my 718!! Its really irritating because I have the respawn delay set up and everything. They just wont respawn for some odd reason. If somebody could help me out that would be great because i've been trying to figure it out for a few days now. Thanks Runelocus!!

After i was given the code[CODE]if(i == NPCID) { entityDef.name = "Guy"; entityDef.combatLevel = 9000; //Change 9000 to whatever level. Remove it not needed. }[/CODE] from "gripper" to add it in entitydef.java i tried to add it in but i dont know where to add it. i asked where to add it but i never got a reply. any help would great thanks.
