  1. Hi, I need some help with the project I'm working on called [URL="http://www.runelocus.com/forums/showthread.php?105102-BattleSoul-317"]BattleSoul[/URL]. I have repacked the models and map packages, but cannot seem to get it working. I keep on getting black floors and client crashes upon login. I just need someone to add me on Skype and help me with adding the data through Teamviewer or Join me. I can give it a shot with getting a bit of cash to send your way for helping me, like $10 or so, but I ain't making promises. If someone can do it for free, that would be appreciated.   4. There is a world map for the runescape, but does anyone have a world map of the underground layer of runescape? I know that all the runecrafting altars are alligned next to each other, but I need the complete map . Or does anyone have the map of rogues den and whats around it if you noclip north south east or west of it?

    Editing maps?

    Hi, I've tried looking everywhere for this, but I couldn't find it. How does one go about editing the map? Things like copying a very specific portion of Lumby to some empty area, and perhaps replacing it with another piece of land, or making a road through some grassy area? I want to mesh together different pieces of land to create a new map. Note that I'm not trying to create new floor tiles from scratch, but rather move around and edit existing ones. So how does one go about doing this? I think it may have to do with the RegionBuilder file, but I'm not sure how to use it, and couldn't find any tutorials on this (except one that was really unclear and seemed to imply that RegionID is different from coordinates which confused me). So if anyone knows how to do this, it would be a big help. I've actually rarely if ever seen map changes in a 718+, so this may be more high tier stuff. Know that I'm still relatively a beginner though :P
  7. As the title says lol... Ok so the problem is Bottany Bay and Mobilising Armies... Dwarf village used to be a problem but now it loads just has very messed up map data for it. Mob Arm and Bot Bay were working perfect without any map struggles. And then my v8 client I have made fails me... What is even more strange is my v6 works... Even though nothing changed via client and whats messed up is the fact when i use a non jarred client it causes crashing in those maps mentioned above. Does ANYONE know why I am having this issue? And if you know how to fix helm me out please lol I am kind of almost resetting my cache back to xtea format because cache sided maps are soooo bad lol. But I get the feeling it is both the Client and the Cache.

    Need help with maps

    [PI] 734 Maps Error

    i tried to add 734 maps i packed everything and packing went well but when i started my client it starts but when it reaches (39%) in the loading bar i get this error in CMD [CODE]Map amount = 1913Exception in thread "Thread-3" java.lang.OutOfMemoryError: Java heap space at Background.<init>(Background.java:35) at client.startUp(client.java:8366) at RSApplet.run(RSApplet.java:84) at client.run(client.java:5286) at java.lang.Thread.run(Unknown Source)[/CODE] i dont know exactly what does that mean i will rep++ for helping me in this Note : I use Deathlypvpz Client I hope you help me

I get this "PANIC! RANDOMIZED BLOCK!" But I'm still able to load my client, but when I log in It stays at -loading please wait- I spawn to 1,1 and I unfreeze but I can only stay in that spot or ill freeze again... I'm not sure what I did wrong..:\ any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks. Edit- I'm using a clean pi source and client.

  16. Will someone help please? I did everything right, gzipped all my .dat files, cache is fine. When i log in on my client it shows where im at all black and then half the map i can see, and then it freezes me. I think it may have to do with somthing in my client.java or OnDemandFetcher, the way i added the codes in, but i fixed the coding in OnDemandFetcher from streamloader to archive and it fixed my errors i had before. Using Lost Valentinos' adding 634 maps tutorial Someone please help? Greatly appreciated.

  18. Hi, i'm wondering how I can implement the new 508 Maps with 525 Objects to the clipping (regions) system.   19. I have a few questions, I want to start making runescape maps, the problem is how? I can't seem to find it on the internet PS. If this is the wrong section sorry, wasn't sure where to post this. 1. Do I need to have a knowledge about something if I want to make maps in the future? 2. I'm searching for a program like to make a whole city, addings buildings,houses,ground,objects ect. for example making a replica of falador or varrock,ect. 3. Can you edit already existing maps? example falador removing the bank building 4. On the 498 server there is for example bounty hunter (the old bh) would it be possible to make the area bigger and add like a 4th crater? 5. Runescape probably had to make some objects (example a statue?), How can I add new objects and stuff like that, or how can I learn to make them and with what program. 6. Is it possible to remove things on the current runescape maps and replace them 7. Can I add every object that runescape has (uptill 498 revision ofcourse). 9. If I successfully made a map, how can I add it to a server? 10. How can clipping be fixed? 11. anything els I should know?     Can't load new maps?

    Loading 508 Maps

    Could someone provide some insight on importing 508 maps onto my 317 base? A tutorial or just a short explanation would be much appreciated. I've tried looking but I haven't found much, I'll start looking again shortly, but I figured I would seek help while in the process (in case someone knows where something is, or find it before I do) Thanks in advance.
  23. So i added 508 map's to my client and configured and re-arranged everything to be compatible.. But i got a problem. My mage bank webs are there but don't cut... It say's Object Id: 733 X: 3092 Y: 3957 Anyway i can add like a 508 web to cut or if not just remove this Object. I checked in my ObjectManager.Java to see if it was add to the source that way but it seems like it's not. :\ Please help me!

  25. Alright so i have followed at least 4 tutorials adding different maps, all of which were practically the sdame but for different maps, and yet i cannot get it working. So i then tried downloading a client with the right maps and i dumped the files i thought i needed then put them into my client. ALSO didnt work. So now im asking you all.... The problem i get is my client stops loading after a certain point, or it loads then i get that error starting runescape thing with yellow letters... What files would i dump to add new maps properly, like what are ALL the correct files i should be looking at for this kind of thing? Also, can you point me to a tutorial or something that actually worked/helped you? Any help would be nice as i SUCK with client based coding... thanks =) PS- im trying to add 474 maps up to i think its like 634 maybe... might not go that high but i really want a few new places to check out lol. i keep trying these tutorials but they still dont work lol
