i would like to inform anybody who might care or what ever that i will be having my internet shut off on the 1st of August. Don't worry to much only because i am moving down South. I do not know when i will have it back. But i will try to visit on here when i get some wifi access.

I'm leaving for a 6 month deployment in a week. I wont have internet for most of that time. I'd like to be able to play RS in my downtime. My goal is this; [B]A locally hosted RuneScape 2 HD "single-player" server, that requires little to no internet access whatsoever, with no registration restrictions and slightly higher than average EXP rates, or it's equivalent, so I can regain my current character's standing more quickly.[/B] I have seen posts wherein people claim to have done something similar to this. So from what I understand, it is possible. I've gotten the Starter Pack up and running, but it's the Classic version of the game, I'm hoping to get the most up-to-date stable version I can. I've asked elsewhere but the only answers I get are "Why would you want to play by yourself?" This seems to be a really great community so I'm hoping I'll find some help here. I'm well versed in scripting and the like but have little java experience. This is my first venture into the RSPS scene. I'm very, [B]very[/B] ill educated in this regard. Any links, guides, tutorials, or ideas would be greatly appreciated.

I believe something is blocking my connection to certain games and certain browsers as a few days ago all my browsers except google chrome stop working. Since it's not only blocking browsers but certain games I have reason to believe it's not any browser settings(obviously). I have done multiple virus scans to check if it was a virus(it isn't, well unless my scans were failures)and I still haven't been able to fix the problem. Any ideas?

My faggot assed ISP keeps saying it's because of congested towers, and my data usage, but wtf? i used to be on runescape all day last year, it never affected my download speed, let me tell you how ridiculous it is, it takes 2 hour's and 14 minutes to download half a gig (proof coming from downloading Cronous MMO), it's ridiculous. Does the government have the right to censor a international communication network in the name of copyright infringement, counterfeiting, and the 'stealing' of software? Bare in mind, you cannot steal software unless you actually go to a store and take a physical copy of the product. Stealing does not include the loss of potential profit, or an exact copy of the product. Nor does counterfeiting, considering the software itself isn't fraudulent -- in fact it has remain intact of the original copy. Also, we live in a capitalistic country (for US people) -- shouldn't we be looking at a private solution rather than a government one? Thoughts?
