When I try to run my 562 server with Eclipse, I get the error "error loading your profile". But if I run the server without using Eclipse, I get no errors. Any ideas?
  6. How do I use Eclipse to load my client and server?
  7. I'm running a new server through Eclipse, and I've had issues in the past with Eclipse but I figured them out. It's always regarding the run configurations. My runserver:
@echo off title Runserver "C:\Program Files (x86)\Java\jdk1.7.0_65\bin\java.exe" -Xmx1024m -classpath bin server.Server release nogui pause exit
The main class would be server.Server, right? Well when I try to run the server through Eclipse and select server.Server in the run config, I get this:
Usage: java com.rs.Server [debug/release] [gui/nogui]
What am I doing wrong? I know that that HAS to be the main class file I run. It simply won't do anything.
  8. i have question my eclipse wont compile after i saved i tryed like i removed admin myself saved, restarted server but anyway i am admin wtf? NVM Fixed the problem

  10. I don't have a real question, it's more out of curiosity, but my question is this: Why do some servers mess up when the server is imported into Eclipse? I've seen many RsPs (mainly 718+) released that tell the user to specifically not use Eclipse, or else the project will mess up and files will be deleted etc., why does this happen? If you're new to programmming, please don't think "oh eclipse must be awful, thus another reason to not use it.". Also, a new question that has to do with a 317 server (I labelled the help thread 718 because originally it was just the Eclipse question) :P
public void delete(Clan clan) { if (clan == null) { return; } File file = new File("Data/clan/" + clan.getFounder() + ".cla"); if (file.delete()) { Client player = (Client) PlayerHandler.getPlayer(clan.getFounder()); if (player != null) { player.sendMessage("Your clan has been deleted."); } clans.remove(clan); } }
Works good, but when the clan is null(nothing), and I try to delete it, I get a null pointer. <_>
[10/29/14 11:58 AM]: java.lang.NullPointerException [10/29/14 11:58 AM]: at net.packets.impl.InterfaceAction.processPacket(InterfaceAction.java:19) [10/29/14 11:58 AM]: at net.packets.PacketHandler.processPacket(PacketHandler.java:188) [10/29/14 11:58 AM]: at org.luzox.game.players.Client.processQueuedPackets(Client.java:1683) [10/29/14 11:58 AM]: at org.luzox.game.players.PlayerHandler.process(PlayerHandler.java:210) [10/29/14 11:58 AM]: at org.luzox.game.Server$1.execute(Server.java:149) [10/29/14 11:58 AM]: at org.luzox.event.Task.tick(Task.java:118) [10/29/14 11:58 AM]: at org.luzox.event.TaskScheduler.run(TaskScheduler.java:104) [10/29/14 11:58 AM]: at java.util.concurrent.Executors$RunnableAdapter.call(Unknown Source) [10/29/14 11:58 AM]: at java.util.concurrent.FutureTask.runAndReset(Unknown Source) [10/29/14 11:58 AM]: at java.util.concurrent.ScheduledThreadPoolExecutor$ScheduledFutureTask.access$301(Unknown Source) [10/29/14 11:58 AM]: at java.util.concurrent.ScheduledThreadPoolExecutor$ScheduledFutureTask.run(Unknown Source) [10/29/14 11:58 AM]: at java.util.concurrent.ThreadPoolExecutor.runWorker(Unknown Source) [10/29/14 11:58 AM]: at java.util.concurrent.ThreadPoolExecutor$Worker.run(Unknown Source) [10/29/14 11:58 AM]: at java.lang.Thread.run(Unknown Source)
11. Want a tutorial on how to add & open up your client on eclipse? http://www.runelocus.com/forums/showthread.php?99807-How-to-add-your-server-client-in-Eclipse!&p=779199 Hello this is a tutorial on how to .JAR a RuneScape Client (Using Eclipse). 1. Open Eclipse 2. Click on the client folder 3. File > Export 4. Click onto Java > Jar File 5. Click onto Next, Fill in EVERYTHING I have put on the screenshot. For Jar File: Export it into desktop, than create the name for your .JAR! 6. Click Next not FINISH! Select both of those options. 7. Put your main class, client or loader. Do not capitalize the letter's. After that your done, click onto your .JAR and it should be working fine! If you have a loading problem that is something wrong with your cache, if it does not open try updating your JDK/JAVA, if that doesn't work I'll try and come up with a solution. 12. Hi, I'm using Rune-Evo v3 as a base for my server. I am using Eclipse, but whenever I run the Price Editor.bat, I get the following error:
Error: Could not find or load main class com.guardian.PriceLoader Press any key to continue . . .
If I load it outside of Eclipse it works fine, so what would I need to edit? EDIT: Solved.
  13. Want to know how to add your server/client on Eclipse? http://www.runelocus.com/forums/showthread.php?99805-How-to-JAR-a-RuneScape-Client-%28Using-ECLIPSE%29&p=779200 1. Open Up Eclipse. Click File > New > Java Project 2. Browse for client/source folder 3. Click Finish 4. Go to run tab, click on Run 5. Click onto Java Application 6. Select the class that will run the server. (Usually it's server) [mg]http://i54.tinypic.com/24q0kyq.png[/img] Press Okay after. Than you are done, your source/client is now added on Eclipse. Eclipse compiles automatically, you edit your wanted file and than save. Your changes are saved & you can rerun the server for the changes to be saved. You can disable auto compiling on the tab, Project > Build Automatically, and you can compile through Project > Build Project or Build All.
  14. After i do some editing and what not, i save and re run the source but no changes were made. I go back to the file to see if my changes in the code actually saved, and they did...? why isn't it carrying out to the server?
  15. Hi, I'm having a problem with the files that are getting loaded by my server. When i change or remove dialogues/commands, save them (using eclipse) and restart the server it still shows the old text. Nothing updates, everything has worked before. For me it seems to come out of nowhere. Eclipse should auto compile when you save a file and it says it does. Updating prices & shops does work, but this doesn't require an IDE. Does anyone know how to fix this? For now it seems to be related to display text and such..? Thanks in advance, HolyDivinity

    Eclipse help.

Hello everyone, i have a problem. I need help with Eclipse, i know how it works, well the basics, but is there a plug-in for eclipse to make it open large files like a 9mb one, because in my server many npc's drops are bugged, like barbarians drops 4.7k nature runes. I really need Eclipse, because none of the compiler i make work with that Source. My source is Runesource 317 a Runescape 2006 remake. Heres an example : Does anyone know how to make a compiler that actually works for this source, or is there any ways of opening large files? Thanks for any help! :)

  23. So I tried to run my client on Eclipse and it runs fine. Whenever I try to play in HD, it says "unable to enter this mode." When I don't run the client in Eclipse and just run it from my folder, it lets me play in HD. Anyone know why this is happening and a possible fix? And is possible to run .bat files in Eclipse?
