  1. So I'm rather new to coding and currently in progress of making a new home, I've managed to remove all objects, add new objects and npc's, but I have no clue how to remove the doors/walls, if someone could help me it would be much appreciated.

Hi there, i hope you guys will understand what i mean, if you watch the picture [ATTACH=CONFIG]9056[/ATTACH] if i am online on my server, and i use a spawn code object 65 -----> 65 = crate wall <------- SO ITS A WALL the object wont appear, if i use object 7 --------> 7 = Cannon Base <-------- its a normal object so its spawnable If i want to see actually what wall a crate wall is, then i need to add the code to objectspawn.java like 65, 3684, 3928, 0, 0, then compile and restart the server........ But doing this takes way to long everytime So thats why i came here with the question, is it actually possible to spawn walls and doors, with ingame code object "ID" so it actually appears in game... instead of having the server to be restarted everytime, soo.. this issue is only with walls and doors all the other objects just work fine.

  9. I couldn't find anything about this, if there's already a fix please send me a link. From what I understand if a person loads an area with a door opened, the door will be closed to them and be opened to the server. This means they can't open it because it is closed while it is opened, it also can't be closed because it is opened. So the door is stuck in a closed state no matter what, unless someone who can see the opened door decides to shut it (not likely). This eventually leads to every door in the game being glitched until the server is restarted. Is there a way to fix this? Example: Person A opens door - leaves the are Person B tries to open door - for whatever reason the server thinks its closed and the door code says its opened - door cannot be opened Person C was in the same area as Person A when the door was opened - door shows as open to him so he can open/close it as normal I hope that explains it enough...

  13. hi, after getting my server compiling and working properly, ive run into a bit of a problem where i can become stuck in an area with doors/gates, and the only way to get in or out is to use ::noclip which i really dont want to have to do anymore. where on earth do i find where the data for the doors are stored so that they can be fixed?? or is there no door code implemented?? or a much more simple way to put it would be, how do i fix the doors??
  14. Alright, so if you have the sendDeleteGlobalObject and sendCreateGlobalObject void codes, then this is 100%. If not, then it'll still work, but you'll need to figure out how to do it for the methods sendCreateObject and sendDeleteObject(shouldn't take long, just go to ActionSender.java and search for sendCreateObject and sendDeleteObject (however, the two methods should be the same anyway. The difference between the two is that for sendCreateGlobalObject, it sends an object that all players can see, and sendCreateObject is an object that only the player can see. But yeah, onto the code. First, go to Object1Packethandler.java and add a new case for your door. Add this. [CODE]Case ****: If(player.getLocation().getX() == **** && player.getLocation().getY() == ****) { player.getActionSender().sendDeleteGlobalObject(0, ****, ****); player.getActionSender().sendCreateGlobalObject(door id, x, y, facing direction (use 3, it works), 0); World.getWorld().registerEvent(new Event(3000) { [MENTION=15855]Over[/MENTION]ride public void execute() { player.getActionSender().sendDeleteGlobalObject(0 doors original location x, doors original location y); player.getActionSender().sendCreateGlobalObject(object id, original location x, original location y, 0, 0); this.stop(); } }); } break; [/CODE] Add in the **** and the other variables by yourself.
  15. It seems some people are having trouble adding doors in a 562. [SIZE=6][FONT=Arial Black][B]Step one[/B][/FONT][/SIZE] Go to object1packethandler.java and search with crl+f and search case 19205 or case 19337 --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- [SIZE=6][FONT=Arial Black][B]Step Two[/B][/FONT][/SIZE] Replace the case 19205 with the the door object you. for example when u click a unadded door it will say. Object (id) (x) (y) the object id is the what you want to replace 19205 so if my door id was 44211 i would do Case 44221. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- [SIZE=6][B][FONT=Arial Black]Step Three[/FONT][/B][/SIZE] And under the case 19205 you might see somthing simaller player.WalkTo().GoTo(player, x, y-1); break; [B][FONT=Arial Black][SIZE=6]Step Five[/SIZE][/FONT][/B] and under WalkTo(.GoTo(player, x, y-1); paste this player.tele(2826, 3859, 0); under that. and those 2826 3859 is where you want the door to take you so if u just want it to go in another room just put the door coords 1 space after. so if im behind the door make your self noclip or teleport 1 space after the door you want and put the coords. in 2826, 3958, 0; [B][FONT=Arial Black][SIZE=6]Step Six[/SIZE][/FONT][/B] but if u can't get out of the room spawn an object and make it teleport you out of the door and do the same thing with the case below 19205 so if it was a chest i would do case 170 and make it teleport me 1 space after the door. same steps just do the same steps. also u can do the same with the object id of a portal to make u teleport somewhere.   16. Ayy i was wondering how do you get doors to open when they won't? i keep getting a message just saying the object id of the door and its coords but it wont open and also how do you get caves and portals, objects ect to teleport you to a different area? lolking
  17. So, in my RSPS I've made it so you teleport into this creepy Church. Its basically my Donator Zone. There's these doors that won't open and I want to know if there's a way for me to make them open? I know there's a door handler file in one of the files of my RSPS if that is helpful? Sorry for the lack of information, I wrote this on my phone and I'm not home at the momment. When I get home I'll put a screenshot of the location and the coordinates if needed.

  21. well no one most likely wont help but ill ask anyway ive been trying to add doors to my server as most are open but then some are closed ive followed a tutorial but the source im using does not have a addmapobject method. ive added them to the object script folder so when you click on them they open but because i havent added the method it dosent do anything. i have nothing to offer for help because i hope this community is still helpful.
