Would it be a shit load more simple if they were all compiled and easy to read and follow? Well lucky for you, you have come to the right place... This guide will in fact include many guides that have already been posted multiple times in the past and no doubt the future, but this guide differs from all of those one hit wonders by having everything you could possibly need, all-in-one! [HR][/HR] [B]-Changing the Starting location[/B] Possibly One of the Two main things that attract first time users to your server, your starting zone should be vibrant & welcoming to users, it should be the hub of your server, containing the many things that your players require, so make sure you choose a nice and large area that should be able to contain things like shops & portals, so basically the general HUB of your server! 1. To get started, you will want to open up your server folder and look for [B]config.java[/B], and open it. 2. Press Control+F and search for: [CODE] // initial x and y coordinates of the player [/CODE] Under that you should see: [CODE] heightLevel = [B]#[/B]; toX =[B] ##[/B]; toY = [B]####[/B]; [/CODE] 4. [HR][/HR] [B]-Adding/Changing Global Objects[/B] Adding static objects to your server is a great way to add diversity between RS and a RSPS, you can do various things with object placing, be it a skilling zone, or a portal that tele's a player to your special zone. Either way, it is a greate way to customise your server (y) 1. Open up your [B]client.java [/B]2. Press control +f and search for: [CODE]public void NewObjects()[/CODE] 3. [HR][/HR] [B]-Changing the Max skill level from 99[/B] Is gaining level 99 in your skills seem a bit too low or easy? You can amp up the game by super-charging you players with higher skill ability's to either flaunt off, 0wn up or to gain access to secret content that is only accessible at it's highest peaks! 1. Like literally one of the key aspects of what defines a private server, that and the easy skills and money :P So now I am going to show you the basic formats of the commands so you can start implementing them your selves!   10. Well, after alot of feedback to my FrugooScape remake (some good, some bad) I've decided to not persue that idea. It semt quit stupid when their was UnRealScape stil running and very much popular. I'm really into remakes, I believe it brings back memories for many of people, and let's be honest... Alot of the older servers dominate these crappy, over customed modern day servers. I thought through alot of classic servers to remake, such as: Dodian 2Speced LostPkz DeltaScape Cammy PVP The list goes on forever... After alot of thinking I decided to create a DeltaScape. Now your all probably thinking: OMFG0RZ, Delta sucks. Hmmm... That maybe so, but for the past couple months I've been coding (with the help of my brother) to fix up the features that people found annoying and crappy about Delta E.G the amature coded combat system. Which is now almost 100% Fixed. I'm currently debating whether or not to use it as my own server or not. If you all Vote YES, that means you would like to see it online and if you say NO it means I'll just forget the idea and release the source on Mopar. If the answer is YES at the end of the poll then the server will be online within the next 3 days. Some questions you probably want answering: Will it have the old RSPS gameframe? ATM yes, if you don't like it, I'll update it to a 474. Will it be a BETA IF it comes online? No, it will be an official server. Bugs/Glitches are obviously to be expected, just report them, and most of the bugs should be gone within the first few days of it being online. Why Delta? Many reasons, it was very popular in it's prime, people are very familuar with the source as many either used to play it back in the day or use it now'days as a base. Will you need staff? I have almost completed this fully, but my knowledge is very restricted to PI, I have tried playing around with the various methods in DeltaScape, to become more familiar with it, in doing so I have completed a great deal of the guide. Guide's I need submitted: Spawning NPC's - Would be much easier if he set out a guide in the .cfg How to change prices - Once again, would be much easier if he set up a guide in the .cfg Changing the XP rate How to make these commands [LIST] [*]Teleport Command [*]Give Item Command [*]How to add a player right to the command [/LIST]I will include 100% Credit on the specific guide and a link back to the creator profile.
