Ok so i have been working on my server for some time now and all was going well until i ran into a 100 error problem. any time i added something to [CODE] private void parseIncomingPackets() {[/CODE] i would get a 100 error. i remove what i added and it worked fine. so i went and looked it up. and a site said "In a Jave method, its size cannot exceed 64KB." so it told me to make a void like this [CODE]public void parseIncomingPackets2() {[/CODE] ( i tried to change public to private as well.) and other stuff. its all [URL="https://www.moparscape.org/smf/index.php?topic=438121.0"]here[/URL] under " Code to large" so i did so but it throws errors and i can't quite get to work so i'm asking for any help. i'm not a bad coder or anything. and i know what i'm doing half the time but i can't quite get this down.
  2. so i added a respawn time to a zombie in npc.cfg like this npc = 74 Zombie 200 200 43 but it gives me an error when i run the server. so I'm wondering is there only specific respawn numbers that work with certain npcs? because I've added a respawn time to other npcs and it works after i use a few different numbers in the respawn time column.
  3. Ok so I"ve recently added skill capes to my game. But there is no "do skillcape" button on my emote interface. How do i add a button to it so that when its clicked it does the skillcape emote? thanks!

Ok so Ive written code that makes a player teleport after killing a certain npc, but i was wondering if somebody would be so kind as to try and explain how to make it so that they have to kill several of the npcs before they are teleported. any help/tips/tutorials/links you can provide would be greatly appreciated. thanks.     Delta Combat

    Hi guys, i'm new to coding rsps, and i've started with cleaned delta source. My problem is that when i'm in a single combat zone like edgeville i can get attacked by 2 dragons at the sametime when it is not multi-combat, anyone knows how to fix this, thanks! [ATTACH=CONFIG]8853[/ATTACH]

  8. This is delta, but without anti leech. I get 20% credits for this.   9. When PKing and a player isn't skulled and gets killed, he does not keep any items. The player doesn't keep anything no matter what if he gets killed, including if he uses protect item. When I discovered this, I assumed it was related to the youdied boolean, so I replaced it with another youdied boolean from another source, but it still didn't fix the problem. How can I fix this? Thank you.

Files Edited: client.java, shops.cfg, NPCHandler.java, player.java, npcdrops.java, autospawn.cfg, potions.java, item.java, and maybe item.cfg depending if you like your prices.[/COLOR] [COLOR="#FF0000"]Difficulty: 2-5/10.[/COLOR] [COLOR="#00FF00"] To begin, Open up your client.java and search for -[/COLOR] [CODE]character-bow = [/CODE] [COLOR="#00FF00"]right above that line add this -[/COLOR] [CODE]characterfile.write("character-npcs = ", 0, 17); characterfile.write(Integer.toString(npcs), 0, Integer.toString(npcs).length()); characterfile.newLine();[/CODE] [COLOR="#00FF00"]What this means - characterfile.write("character-npcs = ", 0, 17); = go to your character file and add the line character-npcs = then a 0 and character-npcs = ' is equal to 17 characters. characterfile.newLine(); this means that there is a new line after that. The second command says that if you have 2500 or more npc points you will lose 2500 npc points and it will give you all of vestas things, if those ids are your vesta gear, then it will send you two messages, the first one will say you have bought the vestas gear for 2.5k points and the second message will tell you how many points you have left. That is a command to buy things using npc points. Dear runelocus users, First of all, thanks for reading my post on the first place, but now I'm going to tell the problem I have, I'm hosting a server in BETA stage, like fixing bugs, adding harder eco, but I found out yesterday that I can't use Autocast for magic, If I click the 2 buttons when I wear a staff it doesn't do anything, it just makes the button's ''red'' and thats all, it won't open a dialogue or something But I looked all day on Google search bar, and Runelocus, and other RSPS forums, but I couldn't find anything, So I just made this topic so I have you guys could help me, I'm not a really experience coder specially not in fixing autocast, I tryd it, but I failed...   20. Hello guys, I'm working on my 317 Delta Project, Devolution 8. Right now i've been trying the correct animations to my NPcs With the Walktype.. Al though i seem to have a problem when i want to have my NPCs walking around their area. It's kinda weird i have literal tried everything to make it work, but it doesn't work.   23. I have a small issue where my hitpoints reset after I logout. Basically if I get hurt I can just logout to heal myself. As far as I'm aware it's just not saving my hitpoints on logout. Prayer saves on logout, but I can't find out why or else I'd just copy that. I checked other threads and they just said to save my currentHealth, but I don't know how or where to do that.
  24. I'm trying to think of a way to disable range and melee on an NPC (basically you can only use spells to attack it). I'm being lazy and made it so you can only use staffs or your fists (basically encouraging magic but not forcing it). How would I only allow the use of a specific spell or all spells? Edit: I got it to where you can manually cast any magic spell or autocast air strike. This however makes it to where you can select air strike to autocast and attack with the staff (a melee attack). I suppose I could just allow manual spells only if no one knows how to fix this.
