    Couple questions?

    1) I wanna make my own 317 rsps and eventually release it, but I don't wanna be called a leech'er or anything, so if I downloaded a blank client+source and did all the work is it considered leeching? 2) What's a good Starter server+client? 3) Delta or PI? [B][I]THANKS[/I][/B]
  4. Hey guys, i'm in a little bit of a struggle here, i've been trying to make a .jar client so more people can play my server because to play you have to download the whole client file. I've tried jaring it with jar maker but i keep getting "Requesting title screen Retrying in x". i'm pretty sure it's because i don't have the auto cache downloader. So i'm asking if someone could teach me how to make one or explain to me and show me how so i can make a .jar client so others can play because only a few can.   6. Hey runelocus, probably a really dumb question but, how can I make it so players can walk on areas, I want to use the "game show" random event area as a activity on my server but cannot walk here? is this possible if so how?
  7. I was just wondering if anyone knew the code for a 317 delta trivia bot. I'd like to have it added to my server it's a nice touch but i'm not sure where it goes nor what the code is!
  8. Uhm.. its hard to explain but sometimes when my players are on and someone tries to log out, or will randomly happen sometimes. Players will start disconnecting and rolling back to the last time they logged in. Is there a way to add auto-saves every five minutes orso. OR if players DC it auto saves their account. Or a way to even stop DCs in general. I will screenshot the error messages in the server next time it happens.
  9. Whenever I drop something, it gets dropped and I see it. But if i leave the place and come back it doesn't appear to me anymore. Like, Im in Varrock I drop scimitar. I tele to Lumbridge then come back to Varrock in 1sec, the dropped item dissappears. But if I stay in Varrock for around 10 minutes, the dropped item would never disappear, but if I go away from it, it does.   10. [Delta] Items drop to the ground when you die Hello, In my rsps when you die, you keep 3 items, and the rest disappears. My players started to nag about it, so I spent about 2 hours trying to fix it but couldn't.   12. I've edited a clean Deltascape source from the bottom up, so I don't know where to look but maybe someone can help. Everything works fine when there's just one person online. When someone else logs in, however, there's a mixup between interfaces. Say player A is standing at home, not doing anything. If player B walks into the wilderness (from Edgeville) the shops from around player A disappear and the wilderness icon appears in the corner of both screens. The NPC shops then appear the in wilderness for player B. Also, Player A and Player B are always in each other's screens no matter how "far" apart the avatars actually are. Ideas?

EXCEPTIONS -Combat Systems I will not fully re-write a combat system. -Client I will not make you a .Jar client. I will not make you a working auto cache download. -100 Errors I will not fix 100 errors, Use Eclipse for such issues.

This helps to make player killing easier.

Hello, as first, my English isn't good, so i try to do my best. ;) I've downloaded the source: RandQm-Source, but i have these problems : (client : RandQm-Client) - npc's looks ugly while fighting and walking. - gates can't open. - ::item command is glitched, but many comments are positve... (i get lots nulled coins and working other items while im trying ::item 995 20000) - There is are no soundtracks / there is no music - woodcutting is a little bit glitched / i get more than one log from 1 tree (i'm chopping untill my inventory is full.) How can i fix it? Or is there a 317 / 2006 rs source+client with all working things from above? Best regards, skystone

    Member Object Problem

    Hi, I got a [B]F2P2006 Delta[/B] and the thing is that the dragon stuff, barrows armour, bandos, etc. appears me as member object and I can't use them. I tried to put myself, donator, admin, owner but still appears like member object. If anyone know how can I change that, please help me. Thanks for reading. :):)

Ok so i have been working on my server for some time now and all was going well until i ran into a 100 error problem. any time i added something to [CODE] private void parseIncomingPackets() {[/CODE] i would get a 100 error. i remove what i added and it worked fine. so i went and looked it up. and a site said "In a Jave method, its size cannot exceed 64KB." so it told me to make a void like this [CODE]public void parseIncomingPackets2() {[/CODE] ( i tried to change public to private as well.) and other stuff. its all [URL="https://www.moparscape.org/smf/index.php?topic=438121.0"]here[/URL] under " Code to large" so i did so but it throws errors and i can't quite get to work so i'm asking for any help. i'm not a bad coder or anything. and i know what i'm doing half the time but i can't quite get this down.
  23. so i added a respawn time to a zombie in npc.cfg like this npc = 74 Zombie 200 200 43 but it gives me an error when i run the server. so I'm wondering is there only specific respawn numbers that work with certain npcs? because I've added a respawn time to other npcs and it works after i use a few different numbers in the respawn time column.
  24. Ok so I"ve recently added skill capes to my game. But there is no "do skillcape" button on my emote interface. How do i add a button to it so that when its clicked it does the skillcape emote? thanks!
