  1. the reason for that is because this npc is not the starting npc and i didnt want him to say anything if you havnt started quest, making person think he is just there. thanks though =)

  4. but then multiple people would be able to kill it..i want it to be just one person...like if two people do quest at same time, each one has to fight by themselves then how do i bump =o

  8. im pretty sure it runs off of gzipped files because i cant find a "mapdata" file anywhere... is it named something else perhaps o.O?
  9. Alright so i have followed at least 4 tutorials adding different maps, all of which were practically the sdame but for different maps, and yet i cannot get it working. So i then tried downloading a client with the right maps and i dumped the files i thought i needed then put them into my client. ALSO didnt work. So now im asking you all.... The problem i get is my client stops loading after a certain point, or it loads then i get that error starting runescape thing with yellow letters... What files would i dump to add new maps properly, like what are ALL the correct files i should be looking at for this kind of thing? Also, can you point me to a tutorial or something that actually worked/helped you? Any help would be nice as i SUCK with client based coding... thanks =) PS- im trying to add 474 maps up to i think its like 634 maybe... might not go that high but i really want a few new places to check out lol. i keep trying these tutorials but they still dont work lol

I am making a custom quest where the player talks to the npc, and the npc generates a random item and amount to get of that item. there will be three stages and on level 1 you get easy item then are asked if you want to continue to stage 2 and repeat for stage 3. reward is also a random reward, with reward for each stage being better. well here is my problem...
