This i no where near the most efficient way to do ladders in PI, but I just wrote this up quickly as I don't intend to have the full trapdoors/ladders or anything, for me personally this will do and is easy to implement. First of all you need the modified cycle event manager, if you don't want to use it you're just going to have to fiddle about with the ticks from 2 to 1800 I think. So I've decided to go with a completely blank/cleaned Project Insanity source which the source link & credits will be listed below, my idea is to create a flawless, fun and entertaining experience that will not leave users easily bored. Set targets towards the website/web development side would be to keep the website as clean and as simple as we possibly can, but also offering features that will seem more advanced, but ofcourse accessed with ease. Hoping for a fully finished website/portal and a forum upon beta testing of the server. After that hopefully by then, implementing the highscores that will be done with ease if I find a web developer to pay for matching highscores with the website, but then hopefully integrated user options on the websites main page (portal). 2. As this is a fun and educational experience, I do not expect staff and members to treat this as a full time job, more of a hobby. Of course the more time spent of the users will surely mean better quality, but that will be left for the staff and developers to decide. As it is just a hobby or possibly a side-project for some. 3. I intend to keep this project for as long as it seems possible, motivation is the key to success. I am very self-motivated and feel I can progress this server far, I don't see myself as easily put-off from whatever comes to me. But most of them are power hungry, what I mean by that is they have forgotten this is all for fun, and focusing on success. As you can see, the project I am soon to work on is entitled 'Insignia'. And yes a stable team would be perfect. One with members who enjoy developing and understanding important rules we'd have among ourselves. [B]What is Insignia?[/B] Insignia will be a 317 server (either PI, Asteria or Hyperion based, strawpoll below). But giving the look and aspect of 'Old School RuneScape' however I do not intend to create a full re-make of OSRS, but a similar concept sounds exciting. I want to create something, that would be more community sided. I know their is a lot of people taking a liking to osrs, but also others who disagree with it as it is not as they hoped it to be. Hopefully I can create something, we can create something outstanding to the community.   9. Today it has came to my attention that I am in need of a team for my up-coming server development. I have been working on somewhat of a re-make for a little while now and I feel it's coming along smoothly. If you become part of my team, there's nothing you need to worry about other than to do what's needed. The server itself will not struggle as it will all be paid for, we already have a website up and running and upon beta/releases we will have dedicated servers up and running for the server to run smoothly. The server will be some-what of a remake, with a lot of unique features making sure it's not identical to RuneScape as it was, but something new so we don't all get bored.     [CENTER] [SIZE=4][FONT=Lucida Console][B]Project Insignia[/B][/FONT][/SIZE] Well I don't suppose much people remember me at all, but I guess you could say a few years ago I worked on quite a fair bit of servers in my time developing them, I also use to go by the name of 'Legacy/Legacy508'. But I'm back I guess you could say part-time as I've missed the fun in developing servers but won't have as much time as I did before due to work etc. But I do plan to fully finish the plans on Insignia and release the server to play for the public. [SIZE=4][FONT=Lucida Console][B]General plan for Insignia:[/B][/FONT][/SIZE] I guess the general idea/plan for Insignia is to create a new experience for the players, ensuring all systems implemented are flawless and extremely enjoyable to play. I do not however plan to create a server that will be a breeze, what I mean by that is extremely easy to level up, complete quests & earning money easily. Saying that I do not wish it to be extremely hard to where the player will say they would rather play RuneScape if it's this hard. But overall hopefully by the end of the testing stages people will enjoy the server as a whole and continue to plau on official release.   13. I created a server like this years ago, it was extremely fun to develop. Good luck to you my friends you should do what I done each clan controls a city. There will be one player elected as king from each clan and everytime the king is slain there is a point given to one clan which gives the clan points to customize there city. Mine personaly was falador vs varrock.
