2.
The god himself. I never said using them as a reference point or like practicing on them is bad, it's actually good practice, but if you jump in and just see ints, method and booleans you're going to be absolutely dumb founded.
I'm talking about actually learning java from scratch by doing RSPS, isn't that what you were pointing at in your first post? Sure in the beginning you're like what the fuck is this, but if you're motivated enough you keep trying to figure it out and you learn. Besides google helps you with 99% of your problems anyways.
 3.
Is it temping to learn Java through RSPS? Yes. Is it smart? No. You should honestly go to udemy or other websites and just learn the basics and maybe even intermediate programming. Then you wouldn't need some dodgy 12 year old to try and teach you.
Actually disregarding the fact that most rsps sources released are better used as examples of how not to do it, RSPS keeps you motivated as long as you're interested in it, thus you keep practicing (assuming you actually try to figure out your mistakes rather than just ask someone else for help). I would never have been any good at programming if it wasn't for RSPS, because I wouldn't bother learning an entire programming language just for making my very own calculator or whatever. If I hadn't lost my interest I'd be willing to teach you, but I'd just go inactive as fuck after a few days again atm.
 4. Vexia has resigned as co-owner. I have a new development team ready and we're waiting for Vexia to come online so we can fix the website. Arios lives as long as we have one active player, no matter how many attacks we have to endure. New developers are: - Mod Ethan (Content developer + website aid) - Mod Austin (Content developer) - Elsa (Website developer + content aid)
 5.
Are you sure that it also signifies wether a header is one ubyte or an ushort? If so I'll add it in there ;o
Well ye that's just how the client sends data. If packet length is -1 the client will write an extra byte after the opcode byte indicating the packet length (which can maximum be 255), if the length is -2 the client will write an extra short after the opcode byte which gives room for a maximum of 65535 bytes (although your buffer is limited to 10 000 as you pointed out). They do this for packets with changing size (for instance when writing a string you can send "lol" which is 3 bytes or "roar" which is 4 bytes).
 6.
http://prntscr.com/56arsd ;I coming from the method that creates buffers with a given packet declaration And I have JUnit tested it and the internal array of the buffer has a size of the numbers I specified. It seems safe to assume what -1 and -2 is when I look at that. Perhaps you are right, I don't know. A packet that has -1 size does have only 1 byte header (would explain the 0)
I assume they did that because no packet exceeds 10000 bytes in length.
 7.
You will see that the packet length is sometimes -1 or -2. This means:

Length = -1 → The buffer will have a capacity of 260 bytes
Length = -2 → The buffer will have a capacity of 10 000 bytes

Length -1 indicates byte packetheader which has a maximum length of 255 (unsigned byte). Length -2 indicates short packetheader which has a maximum length of 65535 (unsigned short).
 8. Try out the PK world now! http://ariosrsps.com/forums/index.php?/topic/3606-management-server-pk-world-beta/?view=getnewpost
 9. As the Wilderness wasn't nearly as dangerous as it should be, we have added Revenants. Revenants are ghosts of beasts slain during the God Wars and are capable of using freezing attacks, teleblocks and even heal in combat. They wander the wilderness in search for war, but are limited to the wilderness level system just like players. To make up for the risky battle, they have a droptable worthy of your time (No, they do not drop PvP armour or corrupted armour). In other news... - Team capes have been added. - Clan chat and the Private messaging system has been reworked. - 3 new perks were added to the shop: > Powerpoint < This perk allows you to gain double the points in minigames such as Pest Control, Wizard Training Arena, Fight caves, Fight pits, ... > Charm Collector < This perks automatically adds charm drops to your inventory. > Clean Slate < Lower the level of a skill of your choice, this is useful for pures and skillers who accidently trained a skill they didn't want (this also works for resetting hitpoints to 1 instead of 10, for the die-hard skillers out there). Thanks, Arios development team
 10.
Is there a way to split skill xp multiplier? I would like skilling to go faster than combat but I can only find a setting to set the overall multiplier for all skills.
We used to have a seperate constant for combat multiplier but I believe we removed it. Just add it in the Skills.addExperience method.

 12.
quick question what is the main class for the client?
GameLaunch.
Downloading now and why dont you add pics :)
There are pictures on the threads I posted. 15.
10/5 best release seen in all these 6 years. Shame though didn't deserve to get leaked. OT: #instaleech script system tyvm Goodluck with the future development of Arios though.
The script system is unfinished though, I wouldn't advice using it.
