1. This thread reminded me of a video... If anything, listen to the last bit of it. (2:50-3:34) The whole video is really great, and rather genius.

    Gay rights.

This thread made me laugh.. a lot. The sad part is when you start thinking about the environment these people who are against anything that oppresses the social norms grew up in. Most likely they were raised in a household that implanted the idea of heterosexual being the only way of living a happy life- people don't just adopt the feeling of hatred and sickening towards another group of human beings on their own with no motives or reasoning. "I'd rather go to hell than warship a homophobic God." Religion is funny.
  3. Really seems like a step in the right direction, much more cleaner and I'm glad it isn't an overused 'Dark' theme, rather a more professional white.
  4. +Support on Home/Homepage idea
  5. If you happen to have his IP, contact his ISP and inform them that you have reason to believe he is Ddos'ing. Depending on the ISP, they will either look into it, or send him some crap and very useless warning email.
  6. So, we all know everyone who knows of them, has their own opinion. I'm talking about the Alienware m##X series. More specifically, the M17X R4. I'm planning on buying a laptop that will be versatile, for University, and for gaming. I don't really have a budget, though I'd say about $3500 is getting high. For the M17X I'm looking at it is going to cost about $3200 after taxes. Now, I know most people are either strongly AGAINST, or strongly FOR this sub-branch of Dell. Personally, I don't have a problem with Dell. Some Cons that I have noted are: Weight: 9.39lbs (Without battery) Support: Apparently sucks. Over Priced: Yes, I know they are over priced however I get a good financing deal from my work if I buy from dell. Battery Life: Everyone claims it different, an average would be about 3 hours. So, enlighten me.. Is it worth it? And before you post "ALI3NWAR3S IS [email protected]" please find some evidence to support your opinion.
  7. Can't wait for this server to be restored to its former glory! Almost at 99 str xD Other people need to get on!

    Please Help!

First, try checking if your ports you are using are open. Use canyouseeme.org to find out. Do that for starters. :l
  9.
^ Very useful help.
Heheh yeah, the award he has clearly suits him.
  10. Thanks for the help, I'll look into getting a better Hard drive and lowering my Ram Edit:
750GB 7,200 RPM + 32GB mSATA Caching SSD
I also see the "solid state drivers" though they are very costly.
768GB SSD RAID 0 (3x 256GB SATA 6Gb/s SSD)
For just a little over $1000 USD
  11. So, I'm heading off to University in the next few months and I'm going to be needing a dedicated laptop for it. I'm not much informed about the hardware side of computers, and am a bit lost. If anyone is willing to help, thanks. So, I'm looking into a computer that will be able to render 3D Modeling that can handle 10k+ polygons. Also using some other things like video editors, Eclipse, and other development software. I'm also going to be using it for gaming, should probably toss that in there... I have a few questions- First off, processor.
3rd Generation Intel® Core™ i7-3820QM processor (8MB Cache, up to 3.7GHz w/ Turbo Boost 2.0)
Would this be up-to-spec for what I am using? If not do you have a suggestion? Second, Ram(Memory).
32GB Dual Channel DDR3 at 1600MHz
Is it overkill? Or will I need Ram for what I will be doing. Suggestions? Third, Hard Drive.
1TB 5,400RPM SATA 3Gb/s
I've seen the 6Gb/s but I'm not sure if it would make that big of difference. Suggestions? (Edit) Fourth, Video Card.
Dual 2GB GDDR5 AMD Radeon™ HD 7970M - CrossFireX™ Enabled
Opinions? I hear people bash on Radeon but I also have read that the HD 7000series+ is worth it. Fifth, is there anything else I would specifically need for tasks such as these? Remember that 3D Modeling can be quite a heavy task. It'll be running W7 Ultimate if that is any help. Thanks in advance! ~Requiem Also, I'm not going to say the model I'm looking at because I know I'll get bashed for it. ;)

    Guild Wars 2
August 28th? Doubt it. It was supposed to be released June 26th and they moved it like a week before that. I bet it'll be moved again.
You sir, are wrong. [Thank God] Did an all-nighter (Stupid release timing for EST/DT players - Midnight last night) and it was fairly smooth, other than the most popular servers like Jade Quarry, which I transferred out of within the first 10 minutes of gameplay. It was very fun, and well worth the $59.99 one-time payment. They sure lived up to the Guild Wars name. Erm.. Ignore the part about the server just recently going offline. Due to... 'Maintenance'....(Errors)

    What Do You Ride?

76 Mustang Cobra Hatchback. Will be posting pics soon. Sadly it's now a parts-car though. The frame is F'ed and warped. Can't even close the driver door without running against it... Still a beast though..
  14. If you enjoy the game, you'll find a way. Job perhaps? Do things for money perhaps?
