  1. Free SSL by letsencrypt In this tutorial you will learn how to install a free ssl powered by letsencrypt! What is a SSL? Well and SSL is short for "Secure Sockets Layer" In simple terms its an encrypted path from a web server to the user. Having an SSL on your website can help stop people from stealing passwords, billing info, ect... all while giving you an improved search engine rank. Lets begin! 1.In your File Manager then your public_html file then make a folder called ".well-known" then in that folder make one called "acme-challenge" 2. Go to SSL for free website and enter your domain name. 3. Click "manual verification" 4. Once you have clicked the manual verification link you will be given 2 files to download. This is your public and privet keys used for encryption. Upload the 2 files to the acme-challenge folder in the that we made in step 1. 5. download your SSL Certificate. 6. Now we have to upload the certificate to your web host. (I am using hostinger. This will be the same for all cPanel's tho) we have already set the keys so do not worry about that just leave it alone. you will need open the certificate and copy and past it all in the CRT box. 7. YOU NOW HAVE AN SSL! but we still have some more work to do. to get the most out of your new SSL we are going to make every http:// rewrite to https:// this step can differ from host to host but for most people their host server is going to be Linux so lets get to it! from your file manager open the file called ".htaccess" in this file you will probably see some text maybe an ip that you white listed that is fine LEAVE IT ALONE! on the very next line that you have free other then line 1 and that has nothing under it put your cursor there. copy and past this there. If you are using linux then use the linux code. If using windows use the windows code(start with the linux code first this will be the most common) Linux RewriteEngine On RewriteCond %{HTTPS} off RewriteRule ^(.*)$ https://%{HTTP_HOST}%{REQUEST_URI} [L,R=301][/CODE] Windows <configuration> <system.webServer> <rewrite> <rules> <rule name="HTTP to HTTPS redirect" stopProcessing="true"> <match url="(.*)" /> <conditions> <add input="{HTTPS}" pattern="off" ignoreCase="true" /> </conditions> <action type="Redirect" redirectType="Permanent" url="https://{HTTP_HOST}/{R:1}" /> </rule> </rules> </rewrite> </system.webServer> </configuration> if you want to see more tuts maybe Cloudflares SSL and other features let me know what you guys want to see! credit to letsencrypt (non-profit Internet Security Research Group)

  3. no, its not in game. do not lie to this community.
  4. do not join! this server took my money and got mad when I charged it back because they didn't have the content they said I would get if I donated. Then gave my ip out to other players and said they are going to swat me(calling the police and say I have bomb). This server should be removed from runelocus as it is very bad for our community.
