1. I Jared the client like Newboy said and it worked! :D I used these for anyone wondering: http://www.****************/runescape-development/rs2-client/tutorials/383179-how-make-your-client-jar-executable-10-easy-steps.html http://www.****************/runescape-development/rs-503-client-server/tutorials/466541-noob-friendly-how-jar-sign-your-rsps-client-noob-friendly.html EDIT: Are we not allowed to post links to rune-server? ...
 2. No I just sent him the same client I downloaded with the source. I changed the ip and it works for my brother.
 3. Yes. run.bat
@echo off java -cp bin;lib/clientlibs.jar;lib/com.jar; client 0 live english game0
run - 64 Bit Computers.bat
@echo off "C:\Program Files (x86)\Java\jre6\bin\java.exe" -cp bin;lib/clientlibs.jar;lib/com.jar; client
4. I'm trying to host a Alhassa scape for my friend but when I sent him the client he gets the error:
Exception in thread "main" java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: client Caused by: java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: client at java.net.URLClassLoader$1.run<unknown Source> at Java.security.AccessController.doPrivileged<Native Method> at java.net.URLClassLoader.findclass<Unknown Source> at sun.misc.Launcher$AppClassLoader.loadClass<Unknown Source> at java.lang.ClassLoader. loadClass<Unknown Source> Could not find the main class: client. Program will exit
He has jre6 and the run.bat has the correct path in it. The weird thing is it work fine for me, and I gave it to my brother(same network) and it works fine on his computer. Just my friends client closes instantly with that error. Any ideas? Thank you.
 5. I'd try http://www.runelocus.com/forums/showthread.php?67697-alhassa-scape-562-659-release if your looking for a 562 release, otherwise there are some nice 718s in the download section.
 6. Thanks for the feedback guys! I am defiantly looking into upgrading to 614 or 718 and having some fun. (I would do 317 loading 562 but from what I read this is more work than imaginable) If anyone one has anymore Ideas I'm open. :)
 7. Hey everyone. Im looking for some opinions on projects for a server. Im doing it purely for fun and as to not "leech" a server. I want to actually contribute to the way it works. Im using Alhassa Scape (562) as the base. (Anyone want to explain why 562 is rather dead?) Ive already fixed some very easy things like x10 hp, cmaul speed, new home area, my own shops, and a saving issue. My next few ideas are as follows: Hard Recreate the entire shop/shophandler - it seems horridly messy to me, and it doesnt display items correctly Dungeoneering - clearly my own version but better then what is currently implemented Minigames - duel and soul wars mainly Intermediate Clipping issues Small quest Drop editor (do these exist?) Easy Energy is glitched Dclaws underpowerd Overloads Monster hp is ridiculous Any more ideas or tips? :) Thanks for reading. (Btw I dont think this should go in RSPS help because I dont need help in any specific area, just discussing areas of improvement)
 8. Hi guys, I'm new to RSPS and am looking at making one for me and my friends. I some questions first though. :confused: How exactly does a RSPS work? I see in the tutorial it talks about creating a template to access RuneScape. Are we actually connecting to/through the Jagex servers, or was there a hack that allowed the source to be downloaded? What are the main differences between 317/508/718? They all seem to be in line with game progression and major versions with a few less major versions (568, 608, 714) scattered between. Are theses more up to date templates or hacks? If a RSPS does connect through Jagex servers do I need to worry about being IP banned if I host it for my friends? (I still play RuneScape) I think thats all for now! Looking into getting a 508/718 server up and running, thanks for any info - Proverbs. :)
