Alcohol is already popular in high schools, even somewhat in middle schools these days, why introduce another drug. Sure, kids already smoke dope, but the legalization will increase minor usage of the substance due availability. Sure, it would be great to get kids to smoke weed instead of consuming alcohol, but the two (from my experience at least) go hand-in-hand.
With that being said, I'm for the legalization, I just wish to show the other argument effectively. In all honesty, which drugs are legal at what age isn't the issue, the lack of education about drugs is. It shouldn't be a school's focus to make kids not do drugs, it should be just to get them to do safe amounts and not as often.

It's already the number one Cash crop in America, over half of the population already smokes it, not to mention all the use's for Hemp, either way people are going to smoke it so you might as well legalize it, not to mention there will be less cancer and violence. And I know a lot of people who drink more because there on probation for Weed, so if it's legalize a lot of people will probably quit drinking, and some people will probably quit smoking cigarettes.
